Dominion Chapters from the Novel used for Comic Book 3

These were the chapters from my original vampire trilogy novel "The Guardian, Revenant, and Dominion" that I chose to condense, adapt and rewrite (tweak) for the third issue of my Vampire Guardian AngelsTM comic book series, “Dominion”. Note: The third book in the trilogy novel is also way more erotic, graphic and disturbing (and over 18 only) and I also had to tone this story down for the comic book series. Also, story 3 in the trilogy is 97 chapters long, and it was the hardest story to condense down to 24 pages. I had to combine and shorten a lot of scenes. The story is a little different from the novel in that it is shortened to feature the three Vampire Guardian Angels (Zeke, Anthony and Jude) escaping a medieval dungeon and appearing in modern-day times, the killings happen in only one location —a hospital— the author going to Costa at the police station (which doesn’t happen in the book) to convince him it’s her characters who are coming to life and committing the murders. When Costa gets a call of another incident, the author gets kidnapped by Zeke when Costa is trying to save another victim at the hospital. The rest of the story takes place as in the book with the portal, Cameron, and the three Vampire Guardian Angels, but the difference between the novel and comic book is that both Costa and Cameron fight the angels together, and Cameron sacrifices himself to close the portal, and disappears, but there are hints in the novel and in the comic book that Cameron is still alive.

Chapter from the novel used for page 23 of  Dominion,  Comic Book 3. There are hints in the novel and in the comic book that this refers to Cameron and that he is still alive. (Since in the novel's story, Gabriel was resurrected and it is likely that Cameron was too.)
